50 to 1: The true cost of ‘action’ on climate change

A short while ago, I suggested that it was the last day to change the world; well the last day to contribute to a video project that’d make it clear that it’s by far more expensive to try to control the weather, than to deal with its consequences.

The 50 to 1 video is now complete. Film maker Christopher Field (Topher) describes the project:

What if I could show you that it’s 50 times more expensive to try and STOP climate change than it is to ADAPT to climate change? Well I can, in less than 10 minutes, right here in this video.

The project site also has supporting materials including full-length interviews and documentation. The final statement in the main video is:

Stop being afraid and start thinking.

With elections nearing in several countries it’s a fitting time to do that before sending your personal message to politicians via the ballot paper.
